• Targeted media assignments collaborating with journalists in the United States, the United Kingdom, the European Union and the southern African region.
  
  
• Publishing op-eds and letters in national newspapers in the United States, United Kingdom, and southern Africa.

One feels little comfort entering a country that blows up the offices of its independent newspaper and expels its foreign journalists, but thanks to Annabel Hughes and the Zimbabwe Democracy Trust, I entered Zimbabwe already having lined up secure accommodations, translators, and drivers. More importantly, thanks to her tireless networking and advocacy, I was warmly embraced by the courageous activists and dissenters who offer the best hope for the future of the battered country.
